Conduct experiments related to Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, and Virology/ Immunology. Cell culture; DNA, RNA, and protein isolation; RNA quantification, PCR, RT-PCR, and quantitative real-time PCR; Protein analysis including protein quantification, Western blot analysis; Immunocytochemistry; Cellular imaging; ELISA assays for cytokine, chemokine detection; flow cytometry; Perform HPLC analysis for drug quantitation (E)

Perform cell culture and animal experiments25

Maintain primary cultures for monocytes, T cells and neurons, perform injections on rodents, and collect blood samples and tissues, process blood and tissue samples for analysis, and maintain mice breeding colony. (E)

Maintain detailed and precise laboratory records of all the procedures used for experiments. (D)

General Laboratory Duties15

Maintain inventory of lab reagents, prepare fresh stocks, order reagents, and maintain materials sterilized and in working condition, and assist in reading and preparation of manuscripts for publication, general data/protocols organization and storage. (D)
