  1. Provides excellent customer service to all customers and individuals inquiring about medical/behavioral services offered at MMI; vetting special requests as needed. (E)
  2. Conducts phone interviews with referral sources (families/ physicians / educational personnel) in order to identify and triage their health care needs. (E)
  3. Follows established protocols and procedures for collection and verification of pertinent demographics to complete appropriate registration of patient (E)
  4. Responsible for obtaining accurate benefit information and eligibility, pre-determination/pre-authorization requirements, as well as detailed benefit and patient liabilities per insurance company requirements with established time frames to ensure credible coverage and benefits for scheduled services. (E)
  5. Coordinates and completes intake information/packets/questionnaires, including administration and scoring of screening instruments when applicable. (E)
  6. Coordinates with Referring Physicians to obtain Medical Records, prescriptions for services, and other information as requested for clinicians prior to scheduled appointments. (E)
  7. Compiles medical records information and coordinates with MMI clinicians in order to assist them in preparation for their scheduled appointment. (E)

  1. Coordinates schedule availability with healthcare providers at MMI and ensures templates are updated and accurate for scheduling purposes. (E)
  2. Coordinates with all parties to schedule clinical appointments and communicates with families, educational personnel, and others as necessary. (E)
  3. Arranges for interpreters or other accommodations as necessary for appointments. (E)
  4. Creates and mails schedule confirmation letters to families and referral sources. (E)
  5. Communicates in a professional manner with patients/referral sources on all scheduling questions or requests for services at MMI. (E)
  6. Maintains service wait lists for clinics that are at capacity. (E)
