  1. Lead pre-award support for faculty, including review of NOFOs, creation of submission checklists, and coordination of timelines.
  2. Develop and manage shared proposal templates (biosketches, letters of support, consortium documents, facilities statements, multiple-PI plans).
  3. Provide individualized support to PIs from concept through submission, including document management and scheduling.
Editing and Document Preparation30X
  1. Offer editing at all stages of proposal development, from concept drafts to final review.
  2. Provide writing assistance and structural input, especially for less experienced investigators.
  3. Review content for clarity, logic, and alignment with sponsor requirements.
Funding Opportunity Identificaton and Dissemination10X
  1. Maintain and utilize a searchable database of faculty research interests and keywords.
  2. Proactively identify and distribute tailored funding opportunities to faculty based on alignment with individual and institutional research strengths.
  3. Monitor the funding landscape (NIH, CDC, NSF, DOD, foundations) and communicate trends or new RFAs to investigators.
Training for Grant Development10X
  1. Design and deliver workshops and drop-in sessions focused on grant writing, NIH policies, and best practices for submission.
  2. Track participation and adjust training based on investigator needs.
  3. Curate and update training materials and resources in a shared access location.
