Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Oversee the execution and evaluation of memorable and accurate special events for the FPBCC.  These events must be executed with extreme attention to detail as they are a reflection of the FPBCC and leadership to internal and external publics.  These publics include key community leaders, current and potential donors, public officials, and VIP's from outside of Nebraska and beyond.  Includes the execution of events specifics, including theme and event collateral. selection of venue, selection of menu, logistical coordination internal and external vendors, etc. and managing needs of high-level constituents.
  2.   Provie support for other high-level VIP events.
  3. Serve as the liaison for FPBCC fund raising events, including but not limited to the Cattleman's Ball and Kicks for a Cure.
  4.   Coordinate the FPBCC's participation and sponsorship of cancer fundraising and community events to ensure Cancer Center leaders are attending important community events.
  5. Work with the FPBCC Communications Office to advertise special events and track attendees.
  6. Develop workflows and run of show for all special events.
  7. Responsible for event budget development and tracking expenditures.
  8. Responsible for the review of event venue and catering contracts.
Manage FPBCC Grand Rounds15X
  1. Work with FPBCC leaders to secure speakers, locations, presentations, topics, promotion and event logistics.
  2. Develop and schedule the itinerary for each ground round speaker.
  3. Coordinate travel and lodging arrangements for external speakers.
  4. Process honorariums for guest.
  5. Serve as the main contact for invited grand rounds speakers.
  6. Work with the FPBCC Communications Office to advertise special events and track attendees.
Manage FPBCC Advisory Board Meetings10X
  1. Coordinate travel and lodging arrangements for external speakers.
  2. Serve as main contact to event venue and catering staff.
  3. Process honorariums for guest.
  4. Serve as main contact for External Advisory Board Members.
  5. Develop workflows and a run of show of EAB meetings
