Responsibilities and Duties

Customer experience Currently: Athletic equipment check out, setup, and take down.60X
  1. Welcome, greet, and assist members and visitors, whether engaging face-to-face or over the phone.
  2. Check for proper identification via facility management software or sign-in sheets when entering the facility 
  3. Handle customer accounts and delinquent accounts as they arise during check-in. 
  4. Be knowledgeable and able to answer inquiries about membership and class options. Assist customers in CFHL membership, program, or service sign-up. 
  5. Conduct facility tours for guests, as needed. 
  6. Ensure member and visitors follow all CFHL member guidelines and procedures. 
  7. Proactively address member and visitor concerns or complaints. 
  8. Other office duties as assigned. 

Currently

  1. Welcome, greet and assist all student, members and others who enter our facility
  2. Assist member with memberships. 
  3. Verify membership in databases. 
  4. Open and close facility. 

 

Front Desk Responsibilities Currently Collect payments and ring out cash register20X
  1. Responsible for facility opening and closing following the department procedure.
  2. Communicates daily activities for shift transfer. 
  3. Responsible for money handling of payments of memberships, services, event/league events. 
  4. Run cash reports as part of closing. 
  5. Accurately completed the process of new, canceled, or renewed memberships in the facility management software. 
  6. Assist with locker purchase and locker-related issues. 
  7. Check out equipment to members. 

Currently

General Facility and Equipment Cleaning Currently: General cleaning of facility and equipment20X
  1. Conduct hourly walk throughs, report any issues or damage, and ensure the facility is tidy.
  2. Wipe down and sanitize facility/fitness equipment regularly and/or put away equipment left out by members. 
  3. Sweep and/or vacuum various floors. 
  4. Stage intramural equipment for use, when needed. 
  5. Seasonal cleaning projects. 

Currently:

  1. Disinfect and dust athletic equipment and locker rooms (E)
  2. Sweep and/or vacuum various floors and the gymnasium (E)
  3. Seasonal cleaning projects (D)
  4. Set up volleyball, badminton nets, ping pong tables
  5. Take down athletic equipment after use.
