  1. Coordinate patient participation in investigational protocols under the direction of the principal investigator. Facilitate the process of informed consent and enrollment of patients into study. (E)
  2. Interact with and educate patients and family members about the study; plan and coordinate the patient’s progress through the study. (E)
  3. Obtain medical history and perform physical exams. Review ancillary testing per research protocol such as electrocardiogram, radiographic studies, and laboratory studies and testing as required. (E)
  4. Monitor closely all aspects of each research study with regard to the medical management of the patients. Observe for side effects or increase in symptomology; assist in evaluation and treatment of such problems and scheduling appropriate referral. (E)
  5. Travel to investigator meetings as required. (E)
  6. Assist PI with review of case report forms and query resolution. (E)

  1. . Assist principal investigator with IRB applications, consent forms, data collection tools, annual reports, and other required documentation. (E)
  2. Work with patients and primary records to collect clinical information required by studies. (E)
  3. Complete case report forms or other data collection forms in a timely and accurate manner. (E)
