Membership Experience40

  1. Develop, implement and promote a welcoming guest-to-member experience from when a member first walks through the door to joining our facility. This would include current and prospective members. (E)
  2. Establishes memberships, including activating, canceling, and updating in membership database. (D)
  3. Entry of information into Photo ID software for the issuing of proxy cards for entry into the fitness center. (D)
  4. Coordinates access with Campus ID Badge Office to collect student and member information to send to EZ Facilities. (E)
  5. Develop, execute, and promote, a membership retention program for new and current members and students. This would include oversite of promotional events to students, faculty, staff, and community, including open house events, membership appreciation week and other related events. (E)
  6. Provide customer service to Center for Healthy Living students, current members and prospective members. Those duties can include answering telephone calls and emails, greeting, directing and providing information to said members. (D)
  7. Develop and administer needs assessments and surveys to determine interest in, or satisfaction with, membership, facilities, events, or services that to guide the aid in Center for Healthy Living#s direction. (E)
  8. Completes comprehensive analytical and statistical reports regarding the membership operations; by providing reports and analysis on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.(E)

Personnel and Front Desk Management30

  1. Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate part-time front desk staff in customer service, sales, personal skills, development and leadership. (E) 
  2. Ensure personnel coverage of the front desk during operational hours. (E) 
  3. Maintains and updates front desk and POS policies and procedures and communicates weekly with all part-time staff with updates and development opportunities. (E) 
  4. Conducts quarterly front desk staff development. (E) 
  5. Orders departments general office supplies (D) 
  6. Assists in conducting facility tours. (D) 
  7. Ensures cleanliness/organization of the front desk area including folded towels, filled sanitizer, and trash clearance, etc. (D)

General Business Functions20

  1. Oversee department payment obligations and process all accounting transactions in SAP/ARIBA: journal entries, internal and external charges, purchase orders, goods receipts, P-card transactions, petty cash vouchers, and various other SAP functions according to UNMC policies. (E)
  2. Assist with financial records by preparing, recording and filing purchase orders and invoices to SAP and our filing system and reconciling SAP reports. (D)

Front Desk Operations10

  1. Updates and maintains policies and procedures regarding front desk/ memberships, facility usage, risk management, and membership guidelines. (E)
  2. Conducts and directs /bi-weekly and monthly reports to UNMC and Nebraska Medicine payroll departments for Center for Healthy Living. (D)
  3. Other duties as assigned. (D)
