Responsibilities and Duties

Operations and Maintenance90

1)Successfully complete Preventive Maintenance, Work Orders and Minor Renovations. (E)
2)Insure compliance with all applicable city, state, and federal codes. (E)
3)Perform and certify tests as required by JCAHO involving medical electrical systems. (E)
4)Install and repair complex electrical systems such as automatic transfer switches, motor controls, electrical panels, and load centers, emergency power systems for life support, and building fire alarm systems. (E)
5)Use PC to monitor and adjust HVACR systems, alarms, and temperatures. (E)
6)Read and interpret work from blueprints, drawings, and complex schematics. (E)
7)Perform required maintenance on HVACR systems. Perform related work on pneumatic, electronic control systems. (E)
8) Install and repair portable water systems, drain, waste and vent systems, medical gas systems, fuel gas piping, fire protection systems, and low pressure steam lines and traps. (E)
9) Using proper procedure, shut down reactive plumbing and other systems. (E)
