Responsibilities and Duties

Biomedical research	70	X	Plan, conduct, properly record, analyze, share, and report on assigned research projects. Prepare findings for reports and publications.
Mentoring lab students	15	X	Provide training, mentoring, one-on-one instruction to lab members in relation to their experiments, presentations, and lab safety.
Support administrative needs	15	X	As assigned, assist with regulatory filings, inspections, and requirements; support lab materials ordering and receiving; support and maintain lab safety of equipment and personnel.

Impact

This externally funded position will support more than a dozen undergraduate and graduate researchers in a large research laboratory, and will help achieve research objectives leading to continuing and additional funding support.

Daily interactions with other undergraduate and graduate students, which this position will support with technical skill sharing and augmentation of effort on prioritized projects.
Frequent interaction with supervisor to report research findings.
Maintain a professional and supportive relationship with other lab members.
