Strong understanding of Federal, state and institutional financial aid programs, processes and regulations, with an emphasis on Federal Pell Grant and verification regulations, policies and procedures. Knowledge of and proficiency with computer-based student information systems, preferably PeopleSoft. Excellent communication and analytical skills needed. Ability to organize workload and multitask. Ability to work with confidential information, use of professional judgement in decision making, train and supervise employees. Be able to assist in other areas as assigned. |

Errors reflect unfavorably on both the department and campus. Responsible for the supervision of two Financial Support Coordinators and over $22,000,000 in federal funds. |
Interacts with a wide variety of individuals to include UNO staff, faculty, and students. Frequent interaction and collaboration with colleges and departments, Cashiering and Student Accounts, U.S. Dept of Education, accounting, sponsored projects and other related areas. |
