Responsibilities and Duties

Provide direct supervision and leadership to the campus construction team.

Manage renovation, remodel, and minor construction projects from scope development through closeout.

Develop project schedules and coordinate labor, materials, and equipment.

Review project scopes, plans, and specifications to ensure clarity and feasibility.

Ensure compliance with university design standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

Capital Projects Liaison20X

Serve as Facilities representative during planning and execution of major capital projects.

Participate in design and construction meetings to provide constructability, sequencing, and maintainability input.

Coordinate between Capital Projects and campus maintenance staff to ensure operational continuity.

Assist with project turnover, commissioning coordination, and transition of completed facilities into maintenance operations.

Identify potential operational impacts and recommend mitigation strategies.

Project Planning and Estimating15X

Develop scopes of work for renovation and small capital projects.

Prepare cost estimates and labor projections.

Assist in prioritization of campus renovation needs in coordination with the Director.
