  • Calendar Management: Organize and manage the Chancellor’s calendar, prioritizing appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the Chancellor, including phone calls, emails, and physical mail, ensuring timely responses.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and prepare agendas for internal and external meetings.
  • Project Support: Assist in the management of projects, working with various departments to track progress and meet deadlines.
  • Travel and Logistics: Arrange domestic and international travel, accommodation, and itineraries for the Chancellor, including for university events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive academic and administrative matters and exercise sound judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Financial & Operational Support:
    • Oversee contracts, invoice processing, and payments (Foundation and State), ensuring timely and accurate completion.
    • Manage HR-related paperwork and processes for the Chancellor’s Office.
    • Assist with budget tracking, reconciliation, and documentation as assigned
    • Manage and oversee the Chancellor’s Sodexo Catering account, including initiating orders, tracking charges, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely notifications and approvals.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and edit various documents, reports, presentations, and communications, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Office Management: Ensure efficient office operations, including managing supplies, maintaining filing systems, and overseeing office protocols.
Chancellor#s Office Liaison & Collaboration20X

Serve as the primary point of contact for the Chancellor’s Office with internal and external stakeholders, representing the Chancellor with professionalism and discretion. Build and maintain strong working relationships with key academic and administrative partners to ensure alignment with the Chancellor’s priorities. Coordinate communication and engagement with NU System Regents, administrators, and staff; UNK leadership, faculty, staff, and students; donors; community members; and state and local government officials.

Event Management10X

Oversees and works in coordination with campus events coordinator, to execute events related to the UNK Administrative Offices. These events may include high-profile meetings, academic conferences, donor engagements, faculty and staff receptions, leadership retreats, and university-wide ceremonies.

Take on additional tasks and special projects as assigned by the Chancellor, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving ability.
