The Dean should have sufficient breadth in their academic career to establish familiarity with and to represent the diverse departments/programs in COE. They should also be able to create and enact COE strategic priorities, balance the budget, solve problems, and enact efficiencies where necessary. |
The Dean would be expected to continue to support rural education and maintain a healthy network of public and private school partnerships throughout Central and Western Nebraska, lending specific expertise to other campus/system needs and system-wide collaborations. |
