These contacts occur for many reasons: police provide services to community members; residents seek information or report crimes to police officers; people on campus are passengers or drivers during a traffic stop; police could stop community members in public places for suspicious behavior, and make arrests.

This position exercises minimal supervision over Community Service Officers. This position receives minimal supervision from Police Lt./Sgt.
