Responsibilities and Duties

Service Center Operations30X
  • Supervise daily operations of the Facilities Service Center, including intake and management of work orders and service requests.

  • Ensure accurate entry, tracking, prioritization, and dispatching of work orders within the facilities management system.

  • Monitor work order progress and follow up to ensure timely completion of maintenance and service activities.

  • Develop and maintain procedures that improve service center efficiency and response times.

  • Provide leadership and supervision to service center staff responsible for customer support and service request processing.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex or escalated service requests.

  • Promote a high standard of customer service and maintain effective communication with campus departments, faculty, staff, students, and visitors.

Campus Event Services Coordination30X
  • Oversee facilities support services for campus events including room setups, equipment requests, and logistical support.

  • Monitor communication with campus departments and event planners to ensure event service needs are clearly defined and scheduled. Serve as the primary point of contact for complex or escalated servcie requests.

  • Oversee communication with facilities trades teams, custodial staff, and grounds staff to ensure event setup and teardown requirements are completed on schedule.

Motor Pool / Fleet Rental Oversight20X
  • Oversee the campus motor pool rental program, including vehicle reservations, scheduling, and customer coordination.

  • Ensure vehicles are properly scheduled, maintained, and available for campus use.

  • Coordinate with facilities or transportation staff regarding fleet maintenance and operational readiness.

  • Maintain records related to vehicle usage, reservations, and compliance requirements.

Other Duties19X
  • Conduct quality assurance audits of completed maintenance and service work orders to verify accuracy, workmanship, and completion standards.

  • Perform post-service inspections and follow up with campus customers to assess satisfaction and service quality.

  • Identify trends or recurring service issues and work with facilities leadership to implement improvements.

  • Work closely with facilities supervisors and trades teams to coordinate work assignments and operational priorities.

  • Maintain documentation, procedures, and records related to service center operations, event services, motor pool rentals, and quality assurance audits.
