| Regulation and Compliance | 35 | X | Responsible for the overall budget of the equipment room. Manage the procurement of the equipment and uniforms for 17 sports including the Cheerleading and Dance teams. Prepare, Manage and make decisions for operating expenses including team equipment procurement, laundry, equipment maintenance, repair, and storage. Responsible for researching, evaluating and ordering equipment, uniforms and supplies from approved vendors. Ensuring compliance with university purchasing policies and branding. Interpreting guidelines of NCAA and MIAA policies, regarding equipment and uniforms as well as health and safety of our 525 athletes. Manage and ensure all protective equipment (helmets, pads etc.) meets NCAA safety standards as well as the NOCSAE protocols and are properly fitted and reconditioned as needed. Arrange professional reconditioning when required. Work together with Assistant Athletic Director - Internal Operations to ensure purchases are within the overall departmental budget. Provide Professional Support for all aspects of football related to equipment and apparel. For pre-season practices (August - prior to classes starting), regular practices , home and away competitions (August - November/December) and Spring Football (mid March - Mid April) prepare and transport equipment. Pack athletic teams for travel to away contest and coordinate transportation of apparel and equipment for off site competitions. Required to have professional tool kit for helmet and shoulder pad repairs per training and certification protocols. Set up Coaches Communication Headsets for home and away games. Manage practice and game day operation, including sideline set up, uniform distribution, and post-practice/post-game breakdown and laundry. Provide professional input regarding equipment issues. Perform or coordinate, repairs, cleaning and maintenace of equipment. Ensure compliance with all NCAA and MIAA rules in dealing with equipment operation. |

Reconciles vendor billings with goods received to ensure all items ordered have been received for proper inventory controls. Work with Athletic Director and Assistant Athletic Director - Internal Operations to ensure timely and accurate data. |
