Responsible for processing undergraduate applications for admission to UNK for all undergraduate student types including first-time freshman, transfer, early entry, non-degree seeking, readmission, and post-bachelors.

Determine initial admission status and monitor admissions status based on final high school and college transcripts.

Utilize Internet and high school contacts to monitor high school courses for University of Nebraska core course requirements.

Troubleshoot questions regarding the online application for admission and fee payment system.

Access Cash-Net to confirm application fee payment.

Respond to students, parents, and guidance counselor questions about admission requirements, status, and decisions.

Contact students and guidance counselors concerning missing requirements for admissions or information on transcripts.

Process department mail, download electronic transcripts, scan all transcripts and admissions documents received into Perceptive Content and link to applicable students or pre-application holding.

This position is critical to the University's overall enrollment strategy.

This position exercises guidance supervision over student employees. This position receives direct supervision from Associate Director of Admissions.
