Design, develop, and facilitate engaging in-person, virtual, hybrid, and asynchronous technology training programs for faculty, staff, and students across the NU System. Create instructional videos, eLearning modules, tutorials, job aids, newsletters, documentation, and other digital learning resources using tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, and related technologies. Develop and manage learning content within LMS platforms including Canvas and Bridge while supporting microlearning, badging, and credentialing initiatives. Apply instructional design theory, adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and change management practices to create learner-centered training experiences. Collaborate with subject matter experts and campus stakeholders to align learning objectives, assessments, and training outcomes, and deliver presentations and workshops for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication20X

Partner with ITS teams, campus departments, faculty support groups, and leadership to assess training needs and develop solutions.

Collaborate across campuses to ensure consistency in training standards, support processes, and learner experiences.

Develop communication materials including email campaigns, newsletters, website content, and learner communications.

Gather feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input to improve training effectiveness and engagement.

Operational Support20X

Support LMS administration activities and integrated learning technologies as needed within MyNU, NU Advance, and Bridge.

Support the Academic Technology team as backup for the Canvas Faculty Drop-In Zoom.

Assist with project coordination, scheduling, reporting, and documentation management.

Participate in system-wide ITS and Learning Technologies initiatives, committees, and collaborative projects.

Create, review, update, and maintain TeamDynamix (TDX) Knowledge Base Articles and end-user documentation to support technology adoption, troubleshooting, and training initiatives.

Stay informed on trends in instructional technology, accessibility, higher education learning environments, and digital learning practices.

Poor training experiences or ineffective communication may negatively affect learner engagement, technology utilization, and confidence in ITS-supported services.


Interactions


Frequent interaction with faculty, staff, students, ITS teams, campus leadership, vendors, and external partners is required. This position must maintain collaborative relationships across multiple campuses and communicate effectively with individuals possessing varying levels of technical expertise and instructional experience.
