Evaluates submitted students’ projects within teacher’s assigned courses, based on a grading rubric for each project. Must be able to function as a team member and collaborate with other UNHS staff. This employee has access to student information which requires confidentiality. Position requires positive and consistent customer service. Professional development provided for all teachers upon employment regarding use of the LMS and other software necessary to fulfill job responsibility. |
Assignment of grade is based on the project rubric and the teacher’s professional preparation and experience. Most decisions are guided by set policies and procedures. Some judgment calls and some decision making skills are necessary to provide adequate customer service. |
Teacher feedback is a key component of our accreditation and approval as a school. Credible grading and feedback to students strongly influences learning outcomes. This position is a front line position communicating with all customers of UNHS. It is crucial that this position be a positive representation for UNHS as this has a tremendous impact on generating repeat business for the program. |

Interacts with teachers, developers, external vendors, and team members extensively in consulting with and providing instructional services and technology consulting support for University of Nebraska High School distance education program. Interaction is with students. Certain situations will lend themselves to communication with the Academic Advisor, the on-site Teaching Staff or the Principal. May be requested to review content within teaching area for revision or updating. |
