Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the liaison with multiple assigned school districts, leading School as Hub implementation across birth through Grade 3.
  • Lead the design, execution, and ongoing refinement of district action plans aligned with project goals, implementation fidelity, system priorities, and resource allocations in accordance with the School as Hub for Early Learning framework.
  • Supervise and support Early Childhood Specialists to ensure high-quality, integrated coaching and facilitation across instructional, leadership, and family engagement target areas.
  • Facilitate school-based planning, data reflection, and implementation meetings.
  • Maintain proactive and strategic communication with school and district leaders, community partners, and internal staff.
Administrative and Operational Duties20X
  • Facilitate implementation team meetings, internal learning sessions, and operational planning routines to ensure clarity, alignment, and role integration.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, reflective coaching, and leadership development to Specialists and emerging internal and external School as Hub leaders.
  • Lead and sustain team structures that ensure consistency, accountability, and efficiency in cross-district implementation.
  • Partner in strategic planning, resource allocation, and team cohesion in collaboration with the Project Lead and Project Manager.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and resource to project facilitators as a key resource, contributing expertise and integration support to strengthen project success.
  • Enhance internal coordination by modeling proactive communication, identifying operational bottlenecks, and reinforcing shared accountability across team roles and project strands.
Strategic Integration & Alignment20X
  • Advance systems alignment by co-leading strategic integration of professional learning, resource development, and district implementation priorities across projects, in close collaboration with Coordinators to ensure consistency across tools, timelines, and learning objectives.
  • Co-develop and refine strategic tools and implementation resources (e.g., action plan guides, transition protocols, and fidelity rubrics) in partnership with Coordinators to promote coherence, across district implementation and professional learning efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Lead, Coordinators, and the Project Manager to align implementation with professional development strategies, track deliverables, plan resource allocation, and monitor strategic progress across all project strands.
Data and Continuous Improvement20X
  • Lead collaborative cycles with evaluators and Specialists to collect, interpret, and apply implementation and evaluation data to inform strategic adjustments and support continuous program improvement across multiple sites.
  • Lead internal data reflections to promote shared learning and adaptive change.
  • Generate and contribute to internal and external reports, presentations, and communications to  demonstrate impact, highlight lessons learned, and advance organizational knowledge and visibility.

Technical Skills

This position demands technology proficiency, with a willingness to learn and utilize new technologies relating to (but not limited to) document management, project and portfolio management, and budget tracking. Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is also required.

Key duties involve independent judgment regarding analysis of issues and actions required to support day-to-day business transactions. This individual is required to be proficient and conscientious when representing the Buffett Institute and the University. Administrative review is often necessary before information is released by this position, but the responsibility for error-free detail supporting analytical information rests with the employee.
