Provide recruiting support in the research, creation, execution and oversight of marketing and customer service-related projects. Connect with potential customers through lead-follow up and outreach.

Works with internal and external contacts to organize components needed to initiate, drive and conclude major projects undertaken for UNHS.  Responsibilities include, ordering supplies and services, tracking and reporting progress.  Works closely with managers, coordinators and recruiters in coordinating the overall projects.

Organizes and coordinates UNHS participation in local, national and international trade shows and events. Produces and communicates event schedules to ensure recruiters and other participants are at the right show, at the right time, with the right materials. Order, monitor, maintain and coordinate delivery of all marketing-related collateral and promotions.

Coordinate, oversee and facilitate the ordering, printing, distribution, inventory and payments of products/programs needed to complete and/or support marketing- and UNHS-related jobs as defined by marketing team. Reconcile all related expenses by job category and project to all vendors for materials, distribution, time, and other charges. Work with vendors under contract to ensure timely and accurate accomplishment of deliverables. Report and distribute budget variances and compliance.

This position provides marketing and recruitment support fo all initiatives involving the University of Nebraska High School. Such support organization, coordination, communications, maintenance, and tracking to ensure all marketing projects and programs are effectively completed on-time and on budget. Good human relations skills are important in working externally with vendors and partners and internally with University personnel. Occasional travel may be necessary.  Requires strong aptitude for basic math to include invoice reconciliation. Working knowledge of university operations with a good understanding of how the departments relate. Strong organizational and interpersonal communications skills are needed. Must have strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with little supervision.  Requires strong skills in office technology and computer office software to include spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and web-based programs such as e-mail programs, survey programs, and other marketing and communications-related programs. Strong aptitude for learning new and non¬standard software and systems.


Problem Solving - Decision Making


Employee will provide analysis of all invoice reconciliation including any overages. Employee will work directly with vendors to ensure compliance with any contractual agreements as it relates to invoicing, hours worked, delivery, etc. Oversee and provide the day-to-day vendor communications contact for all general issues, invoice questions, status reports, and all other minor vendor issues to ensure on-time/on-budget execution and completion.


Impact


Position is necessary to help further project efforts and support overall marketing efforts. Without this position, the timely acquisition and distribution of promotional materials, event registrations, mailing lists, and other marketing distribution and communication actions would negatively impact sales.

Contact with others includes vendors, internal peers/colleagues, senior managers and university personnel including faculty. Purpose is dependent upon project scope and definition.
